New medical technology develops tissues, aims for organs
Researchers at Brown University have been able to infuse Medical and Engineering techniques together by producing three dimensional (3-D) tissues and micro tissues which can be further used to develop artificial organs for transplantation and research purposes. The process consist of producing an artificial living tissue and then to make sure that these tissues are fed with a constant stream of nutrients by using a fluid that also removes wastes produced by the living cells. The method is called the Bio-Pick, Place and Perfuse.
The BioP3, as the device is called, is a simple device which consists of two chambers, nozzles, plumbing tubes and a peristaltic pump that is used for circulation.
This was concluded by a team of researchers led by Jeffrey Morgan, a Brown University bioengineer, and Dr. Andrew Blakely, a surgery fellow at Rhode Island Hospital and the Warren Alpert Medical School who introduced BioP3 in a new paper in the journal Tissue Engineering Part C.
This technology allows the assembly of large structures from small micro tissues which in the future can be used to produce whole organs such as livers, pancreas and kidneys.
Airship city over Venus!
NASA is planning to build a floating city over the planet Venus using a gigantic airship that can float over the planet`s horizon. NASA plans to build this air city so the astronauts and scientists can study one of the most hostile planets in the solar system. The idea is to design HAVOC which stands for High Altitude Venus Operational Concept.
Venus is the closest planet to earth as compared to Mars, and is considered more habitable. The distance of Venus from Earth is approximately 38 million kilometres compared to 54.6 million kilometres of Mars. The surface temperature of Venus is around 465 degree Celsius, and has an atmospheric pressure 92 times more than Earth. It also consists of a cloud layer that is made up of Sulphuric acid. These parameters make the planet highly unsuitable for human life.
Researchers, on the other hand, also claim that just 50 kilometres above, the conditions are more favourable for survival and the gravity and atmospheric pressure is same as that of Earth and the temperature is around 75 degree Celsius, which can be dealt with as research personnel can be fitted with special suits to withstand heat. NASA has sent different probes to Venus, but the survival rate of these probes was just around hours - not even days. 
Though this concept seems decades away, NASA does plan to implement this. It would allow humans to live in two different worlds.

Blackberry: A Classic Return?
Remember the people who pinned you with their very famous BB Pins? Well, they are back with their latest smart phone, called the BlackBerry Classic. The troubled Canadian smart phone manufacturer has just launched the latest smart phone and this time - as with the previous models - has continued with QWERTY keyboard.
The phone comes with a decent 720X720 resolution, 3.5-inch screen, which comparatively isn’t the best on the market. The phone also incorporates an 8 MP back and a 2 MP front camera. It also is capable of doing 1080 HD recording. With an internal memory of 16GB the phone comes loaded with the Blackberry 10 operating system, but is capable of running most of the apps like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. The phone is also capable of running android games and other apps available from the Amazon store.
It’s packed with a Qualcom MSM 8960 1.5 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 2515 mAh which provides a decent 22 hours battery life and approximately 17 hours talk time.

One of Google`s hidden Easter eggs, it celebrates the classic Atari game `Breakout`. In order to launch just search for “Atari Breakout” but make sure you select the Google Images tab. It simplly transforms images into the game, which was first released in 1976 on the console.
Hackers attack PlayStation and Xbox Live networks this Christmas
Lizard Squad, a hacking group, claimed responsibility of bringing down the entire online network of Sony`s PlayStation and Microsoft`s Xbox Live this Christmas. Millions of customers were left outraged when they were denied service due to the network outage.
The group wanted to establish the fact that the security offered by Xbox and PlayStation to their customers was poor. The hacking group is reported to operate from Finland, and orchestrated this attack by using undersea routers by flooding the network’s data with a speed of 1.2 terabits per second, causing the networks to overload and eventually collapse.
